Answer: Hello, I'm Gerard Groves and I'm a digital video producer in London. I first discovered YouTube back in 2006, about a year after the website was created. I still remember the first video I watched, in grainy low-resolution... It was a trailer for the new series of Doctor Who on the BBC's channel. Ever since that fateful day I've been creating and uploading digital video to this platform on and off. Enjoying childhood stints making Doctor Who fan films, teenage antics producing comedy sketches, and a mid-life crisis (I was 19) attempt at vlogs. For the last 5 years I've been working for the BBC. Firstly managing content on that very same channel where I first discovered this website. And after a year of that and larking around with BBC Three when they went digital, I found myself at BBC News.
